The Formula for Success:
Struggle – Resistance = Success
Although the end result is success, the process can seem like quite a journey!
What often seems like struggle in our life will usually show us how success is struggle turned inside out; once we let go of the resistance.
Birth: Yes, it can be a struggle but eventually we stop resisting and allow nature to take its course
Marriage: The planning, the living, the understanding
Career: Waiting to get started, the struggle to get to the top, earn more money, acquire the title, be recognized for our work, find a work/life balance
Health: Eat this, exercise that; the information is always changing
Finances: The first experience when money shows up, wanting more, realizing “more” comes with making changes
Spirituality: Is it religion, is it God, whose God is the right God? The awakening happens and life is forever advancing
Within each of these categories we experience struggle because we are determined to create the outcome we believe is best for us. But where does our belief in the best outcome originate? Who teaches us what outcome is right or wrong and who taught them?
If life is a journey, not a destination, why do we experience struggle along the journey? How do we let go of the struggle and enjoy the success? To answer that question, you will need to define your idea of success.
So many people experience success every single day but they don’t see it for what it is. Every person who is working towards a worthwhile goal is a success because he or she continues to keep going, regardless of the roadblocks. Every single day that you choose to get out of bed, eat healthy food, move your body, invest in your discovery of “self”, elevate your finances and know that you are on this planet because you have a mission that is unique only to you; this is what makes you a success.
Take a moment to stop and reflect on what got you to where you are right now, at this very moment. If you aren’t where you think you want to be, can you give yourself permission to see that you are farther than where you were? How did you get HERE? I’ll tell you how, because you are a success. You kept working towards a worthy goal and continue to let go and walk away when something no longer serves your highest good.
You are learning what someone else told you is best for you may not be true. You are willing to look at what you believe to be true and question your beliefs. This is what makes you a success, you are letting go of what you believed would bring you the best outcome to make way for a better way. You realize that when you hold tightly to one belief you leave no room to discover a better way. When you let go, you stop resisting and experience the success. Isn’t it time that you see the struggle for what it is, a temporary belief that holds you back until you’re ready to let go and embrace your success!
