We all have an Inner Child; she is that person who holds all of our childhood memories! Whether you look back with fond memories of childhood or negative experiences, your Inner Child is responsible for each memory.
I'm not what happened to me, I'm what I choose to become. ~ Carl Jung
From the time we are brought home from the hospital as an infant, everything we learn is based on what our caregivers taught us. Because of this, we must remember that our caregivers also had an Inner Child with memories of their own.
Everything we believe to be true is based on what someone else taught us, and as children, we don't often question what is being taught. What you learned about religion, money, politics, sex, relationships, how to face the world, and even who you are as a person, you learned from your caregivers, parents, environment, teachers, peers and the media.
Everything we believe to be true is taught to us so gradually, we have no reason to consider where our beliefs come from!
And yet, every single choice we make is based on our beliefs!
If we believe we are intelligent, gifted, talented and have the power to accomplish anything we want in this lifetime, we will be able to manifest anything we desire into our lives because that is what we were taught to believe!
On the other hand, if we have low self-esteem, negative beliefs around money, and limiting beliefs around our abilities, every choice we make will be made to confirm this belief. We will choose careers, relationships, financial choices, and can even allow our beliefs to affect our health based on our beliefs.
So how do we connect with this Inner Child to verify which beliefs are real and which beliefs were created during childhood; meant to help us make sense of our life at that time? How does our adult self connect with our Inner Child to give ourselves permission to let go of beliefs that no longer serve our adult self?
As a child, I lived in a house where I experienced mental, verbal, and physical abuse that escalated to sexual abuse by the age of 12. Growing up, my two constant companions were fear and anxiety. My fear came from the constant anger that led to abuse from my parents and my anxiety came from trying very hard not to do something that would cause them to take that anger out on me!
My "child self" learned beliefs and habits that kept me safe in my environment. And my Inner Child held tight to those beliefs and habits as I grew into adulthood. As a child I was told that I was worthless and would never amount to anything. I was told this so often, that my "child self" believed this to be true. If you believe that you are worthless and will never amount to anything, you will never try to apply yourself to anything that will cause you to step outside of that belief. School was challenging for me, what was the use of applying myself if I meant nothing to no one and would never amount to anything?
These beliefs were carried with me into adulthood until I learned the tools and techniques to have my adult self understand my Inner Child and finally grasp where my limiting beliefs were coming from. That is when I learned the importance of Healing The Child Within!
Our beliefs become our habits and our habits (choices) are based on what we BELIEVE to be true! Once you understand why your Inner Child believes what she does and give yourself permission to ask, "Is this true, or is this what I BELIEVE to be true?" you will then be able to let go of any and all beliefs that no longer serve you as your adult self.
Once you let go of these limiting beliefs, you become the empowered women you were meant to be!
I encourage every women to giver herself permission to know her Inner Child, after all, every choice you make is based on what she believes to be true!

There Is Only One Thing That Makes A Dream Impossible To Achieve; The Fear Of Failure.
Fear has the ability to save our life but it also has the power to hold us back in our life.
Fear can be life saving when we are being chased by a snarling dog because fear prompts us to run to safety.
Fear also has the ability to hold us back from our dreams because our mind cannot tell the difference between what is real and what is imagined. When you keep in mind that F.E.A.R. is simply False Evidence Appearing Real, you then give yourself permission to push past your fears.
When you feel fear, simply ask yourself, “what is the worst thing I can imagine happening at this moment?” When you realize that the “worst” is in your imagination, you empower yourself to reach new levels in your life.
When we have a fear of public speaking, a fear of sharing our opinion, a fear of asking for that promotion, a fear of conversation in our relationships, a fear of ending a relationship, a fear of starting a relationship, fear around peer pressures; these fears and others like them can not only keep us from manifesting our dreams they are also disempowering.
Leading an empowered life means pushing past your fears to show the world the awesomeness that is YOU! When the desire to manifest your dreams becomes stronger than the fear that is holding you back, there will be no stopping you!

Q: How do you get to Carnegie Hall?
A: Practice, Practice Practice
Everyone knows the only way to get really good at something is to practice.
So, how often do you practice Self-Love?
Self-Love is more than just taking care of our basic needs. Self-Love is how we think about ourselves, what we believe to be true about ourselves, how we treat ourselves and how we teach others to treat us.
Every week I talk with women around the world and when I ask the question, "what are you doing to practice Self-Love?" the answer is usually full of excuses about how they don't have time, feel guilty or just don't know how.
Basically, we create daily habits about how we treat ourselves because after all, a habit is simply something you practice over and over until it becomes habitual. In other words, once something becomes a habit, we do it over and over without even thinking about it. We go through our day working from our subconscious (unconsciously).
Women are natural born nurtures and it's often common practice for us to put the needs of others before our own needs. Women caring for children, being a caregiver to a spouse or parent, having heavy career demands, doing the work of 8 people at your job, and running your own business will seldom practice Self-Love because they believe they are being a loving person by putting others first. In other words, they are practicing self abuse.
When a woman is empowered, joyful, happy, content, feeling valued, feeling heard and understood, and believes that she is living a purposeful life she is able to feel all of these things because she is practicing Self-Love by putting her needs above the needs of others. This is not being selfish, this is being self-preserving.
Think about this quote, "The love I give to you is second hand because I feel it first!" Stop and think for a moment of all the things you do for others and ask yourself if you are honestly giving equal portions to yourself. If the answer is, "no" how can you start, right this very moment to begin giving yourself equal time, equal love, and equal energy?
Reciprocity is very important if you are going to live a Self-Love centered life. If you are in the habit of constantly giving to others, putting yourself last, and placing more importance on the needs and wants of others you are not practicing Self-Love.
The more time a woman practices Self-Love, the less time there is to practice self abuse. What we think about, we bring about. Just imagine what we have the power to manifest into our lives when we are constantly thinking about practicing Self-Love!
Start today, make a choice to never waste another moment putting yourself last!

Life Coaching has been around for many years and yet there are still so many questions about what Life Coaching is and what it can do for you. Because Life Coaching has been around for so long, many people feel they should already know what Life Coaching is and how it works.
And yet, there seems to be a mystery around the benefits of Life Coaching and because of this mystery, people feel intimidated to connect with a Life Coach and ask questions like, "Exactly What Is Life Coaching And How Can It Help Me?"
To answer this question and in an attempt to de-mystify what Life Coaching is, we have created 4 short videos that will help you understand why Life Coaching is considered Life Saving!
Women often have long "To Do" lists. We are forever making lists of things that need to be handled on a daily basis and we are continually adding to that list.
If you are a woman with such a list, how often do you take time to congratulate yourself for a "job well done?" If you are like most women, the answer is, "rarely." The reason for this is because we don't often think about the things we cross off of our "To Do" list as a success.
Every single thing we do that takes us forward in life, regardless of the task is a success. Yet, rarely do we give ourselves credit for these successes. A woman can get up in the morning, shower, get ready for her day, throw in a load of laundry, pack lunches, get everyone in the house where they need to be that day and when someone asks her what she has done that morning she will often say, "nothing!"
Women are natural born nurturers and we are always giving, always doing for others, thinking of others, thinking for others and putting the needs of others before our own needs.
When a woman is tired, worn out, depressed, over-worked, and underappreciated, this can only happen for so long before something goes wrong in her life. A woman who is appreciated, heard, valued and shown respect will feel empowered. An empowered woman is a joy to be around and it is easy to see how this can be a win win situation.
It is time for women to give themselves permission to put themselves first by being self-preserving. When women are well taken care of, they have more energy, vitality and stamina to deal with the "To Do" lists we create.
Take a look at your "To Do" list and every single time you cross something off of your list, do something wonderful for yourself. It might be something as simple as 15 minutes to drink a cup of tea in silence to gather your thoughts.
Create an Evidence Journal. Keeping track of your successes is a great reminder of just how far you’ve come, on those days you feel like giving up, it will remind you why you want to keep going!
The challenge is, too many women don’t take the time to see their successes for what they are! Pay more attention to your accomplishments, because these ARE YOUR successes! What do you do, every single day that you are not giving yourself credit for? Every time you push forward instead of giving up, this is a success! Purchase a journal and write down every one of your accomplishments. On the days when you’re feeling uninspired, these successes will prove to you that you have what it takes to succeed!
Zig Ziglar once said, "Money can't buy happiness, but it ranks right up there with oxygen!" While it is true that money is essential for our everyday needs, it is also true that manifesting money is based on your affirmations!
In an interview with my colleague, Lisa Armstrong from Dubai, we discussed how to Manifest Money but more importantly, we talked about why money seems to elude so many people!
Wherever our attention, energy and focus is, is exactly what we will manifest into our lives! When you are constantly thinking about lack, avoiding bills, feeling overwhelmed by debt, and constantly asking yourself "how can I earn more money" ~ well, it is easy to see where your attention, energy and focus is!
You have the power to completely change your current situation if you will simply pay more attention to what you concentrate on the most. But, how do you think and feel positive when you are surrounded by lack? The answer is, think less about lack and more about abundance.
What are you grateful for? How often do you actually take time to stop and be thankful for the small things in life that seem so insignificant and yet are truly quite significant?
Walking! Walking was not something I thought a lot about until I broke both ankle bones in my left leg. I spent 4 months in a wheelchair, 2 surgeries and 3 years of therapy to be able to walk again. I can assure you that "walking" is something I am grateful for on a daily basis!
Affirmations! An affirmation is a statement that is true, such as, "I am healthy, I am grateful, I am abundant!" Unfortunately, we also create negative affirmations in our lives such as, "I can't, I don't know how, how can I, if only," and the list goes on. Creating positive affirmations to concentrate your attention, energy and focus on is so much more valuable than concentrating on negative affirmations such as lack!
Every person has so much to be grateful for just like every person has so many affirmations that become their truth every single day. It is important to know "YOU", the person you truly are. What are your negative thoughts that keep you from your greatest joys in life? There is a positive for EVERY negative and it is your job to make these changes.
Are you beginning to see that life is not about the money? Life is about what you are affirming every minute of every day. Whatever you avoid, you will also create a sense of fear around whatever you are avoiding. When you understand that F.E.A.R. is simply False Evidence Appearing Real, you begin to see the power you have over every situation in your life.
Are you beginning to see that YOU have the power to create your own personal supply of abundance? Money simply stands for My Own Natural Energy Yield! Wherever you are spending most of your energy, is exactly what you will manifest the most! This is true of money, health, value of "self" and your level of spirituality.
Every affirmation begins and ends with YOU! You are significant, you are a gift and the abundance that you manifest is in direct correlation to where you spend your energy, attention and focus. Give yourself permission to live an abundant life and you can begin manifesting your heart's desire this very minute!
