Do you know anyone who believes that their age is keeping them from living their life?
We want to live our life like it matters; to make every day count and one way to expand your thinking and create success in your life is to create daily goals.
We all know that we should set "SMART" goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Reasonable and Timely). In 2006 I set a “Smart” goal to lose 30 pounds. Just when I had all but given up hope that I would ever achieve this goal, I was fortunate to find a system that enabled me to move from a size 18 to a size 8. The best part about achieving my goal is, here I am 6 years later and I have kept it off!
I will be 55 years old this year and I feel healthier at 55 than I did at 25 which prompted me to ask myself, “What's next?". The answer to that question helped me decided to begin a 30-Day Challenge! My 30-Day Challenge includes toning and stretching. I enlisted the help of Shelby Mirrotto, from Move It Momma Fitness and asked her to help me create a workout geared towards helping me reach my goal. Summer is upon us and I would like toned arms and stomach muscles to go with my summer wardrobe!
An old knee injury had kept me on the athletic sidelines for the past few years, but with the help of my favorite Chiropractor, Dr. Melissa Diller, we are working on rehabilitating the challenges I have with my knee.
What will it take for you to set a health goal for yourself within the next 30 days? Will you accept your 30-Day Challenge or will you let excuses keep you from expanding your success in life? I am already 5 days into my 30-Day challenge and that means that I am 5 days ahead of anyone that hasn’t yet set their goals.
What New Beginning are you prepared to create to move your health to the next level? After all, if you don’t watch your figure, neither will anyone else!
