Keeping a daily journal is a great idea; however, an “I LOVE ME” journal can be helpful when setting goals. If someone gives you a compliment, you will receive it based on how you are feeling at the moment. But when you compliment yourself, and go back and read your own words, it will be easy to remember what was happening at that exact moment in time.
When writing in your “I LOVE ME” journal, make it a practice to write 10 things that you are proud of yourself for that day. Sometimes it may be difficult to come up with 10 things but as you make this a daily practice, you will start to look for the positive in your day. Looking for the positive in your day will help you concentrate on what is good in your life thereby creating more of it!
What made you feel good today? Did you finish a long overdue project? Did you smile at someone and make their day? Did you start making healthier eating choices? Did you exercise? Some days you might just be happy that you got out of bed and faced the day.
Can you start to see the value of an “I LOVE ME” journal? It takes 30 days to create a habit; make a promise to yourself that you will write in your journal for 30 days to experience a new way to create a New Beginning in your life.
Go ahead, take the 30-Day challenge… I dare you!
