Invoices are used by professionals on all levels, the list can be endless; your doctor, your dentist, your bank, and so on.
Invoices are sent to recoup services rendered; keeping that in mind, have you ever thought of invoicing yourself? Think of the list of services you complete on a daily basis and keep that list going if you are a woman in business or a woman in business with a family.
Does time seem to slip away, and at the end of the day the items at the bottom of the list get put on tomorrow’s list? If one of the items that continue to get put on tomorrow’s list is YOU, you may want to consider invoicing yourself.
When you stop to realize all of the services you accomplish on a daily basis, and you put a value on these services, you will begin to see your value in a different light. How much is your time worth?
How long do you spend on reading emails, answering emails, social media, making phone calls, newsletters, networking, driving to an event? Can you see how, when you think in terms of invoicing yourself, your perception of time can add value to YOU?
Start by putting a dollar value on your time. How much are you worth? Once you determine how much one hour of your time is worth and how you will pay the invoice you are going to send to yourself you will begin to make different choices in how you spend your time. The items on your list will take on a different value and you will begin to prioritize your list differently.
You are valuable and so is the way you choose to spend your time. Only you can create a New Beginning in the way you choose to manage your time. Once you starting invoicing yourself with the idea that you are obligated to pay the invoice, how will you choose to prioritize your list?
Life is all about choices!!!
