Where the Journey Began
The attic has been a guiding metaphor throughout my own journey of discovery.

What began as a way of understanding empowerment gradually revealed something even deeper - the recognition that the beliefs we carry often seem far more real than they truly are.
These two books explore that journey from different perspectives.
One through empowerment and the other through the recognition of self-awareness.

What we are has never been separate from Life (Awareness, God, Creator, The Universe).
The ten Clearing The Attic conversations below continue that exploration - one metaphor, one box, one invitation at a time.
There is no right place to begin.
Simply choose the conversation that speaks to where life has your attention today.
The Attic is a metaphor for the stories, beliefs, memories, identities, and conditioning we've accumulated throughout life.
The Boxes represent the individual beliefs, experiences, and assumptions we've stored away - often without realizing how much they continue to shape the way we see ourselves and the world.

Most of us spend years trying to organize the attic - moving the boxes around - adding new boxes - hoping that one more insight will finally bring us peace...
But what if peace was never hidden inside the attic?
Wonder • Observe • Explore • Remember
Every conversation follows the same rhythm.
Wonder: Begin with an honest question.
Observe: Notice where the metaphor appears in everyday life.
Explore: Become curious about what the experience is revealing.
Remember: Recognize what has never been absent.

Every conversation ends with the same invitation:

Simply notice - Don't try to change what you see - Don't judge it - Then quietly ask yourself, "What is already here before the story begins?"
Ten Conversations. Ten Boxes. One Invitation.
Every one of us has spent a lifetime collecting beliefs, stories, identities, memories, and assumptions about who we are and how life works.
We could spend years opening every box in the attic.
But we don't have to.
These ten conversations explore ten of the most common boxes almost all of us carry.

They're not meant to cover everything.
They're meant to help you begin noticing how beliefs quietly shape your experience.
There is no right place to start.
Choose the conversation that speaks to where life has your attention today.
Not to give you answers...
But to invite you to notice what has always been here beneath everything you've been carrying.
Each conversation opens another box... until, one day, you discover there was never another box to open.

Where Would You Like To Go From Here?
Every journey into awareness is unique.
Some people discover exactly what they need simply by spending time with these conversations and noticing what life reveals.
Others find that they would like to continue exploring with others or have a more personal conversation.
Choose the invitation that feels right for you.

📦 "The Box Doesn't Change - You Do."
Have you ever climbed into the attic...
dusted off a box, lifted the lid, looked inside, and quietly thought,
"I'm not ready for this."

So you closed the lid, placed the box back where you found it, and walked away from it?
If you've ever done that - you're not alone.

Sometimes we're simply not ready.
And that's okay.
Many people believe growth happens in a straight line.
✅You discover something.
✅You work through it.
✅You move on.
But life rarely unfolds that way.

Sometimes we open the same box, close it again, live another year, return to it, see something we couldn't see before and close it again.
Then one day...
we open the very same box, and something is different.
Not because the box or it's contents changed - because we did.

Life had quietly been doing its work.
💜Every experience.
💜Every conversation.
💜Every disappointment.
💜Every moment of joy.
💜Every question.
Without us even realizing it - life was preparing us to see something we couldn't see before.

The box was never waiting for us to become stronger.
It was simply waiting until we were ready.

And there is no timetable for that.
Every belief is just another box in the attic - Awareness is how we begin to set it down.

The sensei picked up the teapot and began to pour tea into one of the cups.
When the cup was full, she kept pouring and soon tea was running down the sides of the cup and into the tray.

The student pointed to the cup and said, “Stop, can’t you see the cup is full and no more will go in?”
The sensei smiled and said, “Like this cup, your mind is full of what you believe and don’t believe.

Before you can learn more, you must empty your cup to make room.
